The Legend Villas

Looking outside my office window. I can see this:

This used to be The Legend Villas 🗃, which closed on February 1, 2021 as per their Facebook post 🗃. Looking at the year, they might have been a victim of covid-19.

Even though this is very near our office building, I have never been inside. I do remember their buffet promotions, which I sadly didn’t try. This is still during the phase of my life when I just go to office during the day and go straight home afterwards.

Now, the buildings themselves have been demolished, leaving only the perimeter walls as a fence against intruders. Motorcycles sometimes park in its now-blocked driveway.

It’s quite sad when old establishments like this close down. On the plus side, the light and noise pollution in the area is reduced as well as traffic caused by guests’ vehicles. Though I won’t be surprised if a condominium complex will be erected here soon; that’s what’s currently happening to Forum Robinsons 🗃 after all.

Adjacent to The Legend Villas is a commercial complex that is also now closed. Like The Legend Villas, the area is dark at night; unlike it, the complex building was not demolished, so it just sits there abandoned. A security guard is posted there to deter trespassers.
