• English: Philippine swamphen

This is supposedly endemic to the Philippines, but I cannot find a local name in one of the Philippine languages. Perhaps my search powers are just not that great. If anyone knows this bird’s local name, please email or comment on the YouTube video.

Apparently, this is not recognized as a species by Bird Life International; hence, no IUCN status.
