tl;dr:
- Assuming it is legit, Oh My Greek! is a great place to have Greek cuisine. Otherwise, you might not enjoy it.

Gyro Pocket Bundle - Pork | 269.00 |
I got hungry while casually exploring SM Dasmariñas today. Searching for a place to eat, I noticed a restaurant that has almost no customers: Oh My Greek!. They purport to serve authentic Greek cuisine. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the cuisine, so I can’t really validate their claims.
Since I like eating at deserted restaurants, I gave it a try.
I ordere the Gyro Pocket Bundle, which consists of two gyro pockets, two pieces of Loukoumádes, and a cup of iced tea. They said I can order one pork and one chicken, so I did. The bundle cost ₱269.00.
The food was good, albeit costly in my opinion. Assuming these are legitimate Greek foods, if you’re not into it you’ll be quite disappointed. It’s not that the food an/or place is bad; it’s a matter of exposure and preference. Considering the Philippine trend right now is K-pop and South Korean culture in general, perhaps it’s not that surprising that the restaurant is deserted.
Come to think of it, I haven’t met a Filipino that is into Greek culture. Then again, most likely I’m living in a bubble. Perhaps the more upper echelons of society are into Greek culture, and I’m just not that cultured.
I do remember that when the restaurant first opened a few months ago, the place was packed. Perhaps the hype has passed, or maybe I just went during their lull hours.
In any case, if you want to eat Greek food I can recommend going here. It’s a bit pricey if you’re just looking for something to fill your stomach. The staff are welcoming and attentive. As usual, Karens are not welcome.
